    Since 2017, Elizabeth has worked to make Roscoe Township government more transparent and accountable. She led the building of the Kelly Myers playground and has been instrumental in developing the Founders Park project.

    Oncology Pharmacist

    Elizabeth has a PharmD from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Pharmacy and has 28 years experience practicing in a variety of pharmacy settings. For the last 12 years she's had the honor of specializing in the care of patients with cancer.

    UCCI Leadership Academy

    Elizabeth is a graduate of the 2019 United Counties Council of Illinois Leadership Academy. This six month long program is held in Champaign and covers all aspects of county government.

    Roscoe Township Historical Society

    Elizabeth is a founding board member of the Roscoe Township Historical Society. The Society's mission is the study, preservation and dissemination of Roscoe Township history, including the restoration of the Robert and Hannah Cross home.

    ILDem Leaders for New Leadership

    Elizabeth has long led the call for Mike Madigan to step down as Chair of the Democratic Party of Illinois and as Speaker of the House. In her 2018 run for State Central Committee, Madigan spent nearly $50,000 in mailers against her. (Chicago Tonight coverage here.)
    Recently, she organized this call for new leadership from over 100 Democratic leaders.

    Elizabeth is State Issues Specialist on Campaign Finance Reform for the League of Women Voters of Illinois

    Illinois Prescription Drug Repository Coalition

    Elizabeth is a founder of the Illinois Prescription Drug Repository Coalition, a alliance of organizations working to pass prescription drug repository program legislation in Illinois, which would allow drugs to be donated and re-dispensed to patients.

    Represent Rockford

    Elizabeth is the founder of Represent Rockford, one of the original chapters of the national anti-corruption organization, Represent Us. Back in 2015, the group profiled our Winnebago County efforts in a video here.
